Cultural Crossways standardizes the training required by the Department of State, according to the Federal Register’s Rules and Regulations Guiding Exchange Visitor Programs (62.25(d).

Our training programs ensure that your local representatives receive the same required instruction across the board, in an environment that allows for questions, feedback and discussion.

In addition to the required training components, Cultural Crossways Field Representative training includes sessions on: developing and maintaining school relationships; building cross-cultural components into the exchange experience; approaches for increasing your organization’s presence and building host family capacity.

Our programs are perfect for those new to the high school exchange community as well as seasoned representatives who wish to hone their skills or learn new approaches to supporting students, host families and schools in their communities.
