Cultural Crossways offers high quality, comprehensive arrival programs in New York City and Los Angeles, and year end departure conferences in Washington D.C.

These multifaceted programs have been developed and are managed by exchange industry veterans with over two decades of relevant organizational experience related to international student orientation programs and conference planning. We too are parents and we will take care of your children. Parents report that they find comfort in having their children participate in an informative U.S. based arrival program intended to further help them prepare for their exchange before flying to their host community.

Designed specifically for participants on U.S. Department of State designated programs, our orientation agenda incorporates a wide variety of cultural adaptation learning activities, team building exercises, regulatory workshops, sexual awareness and safety seminars, along with recreational activities and sightseeing tours.

Students traveling on an F-1 visa issued by the Department of Homeland Security are also welcome to join a Cultural Crossways arrival program and/or our Year-end Departure Conference.  Breakout groups will address the unique needs of this student population to further prepare them for a positive year in the United States.

With a 15:1 student to group leader ratio, Cultural Crossways orientation leaders are drawn from the education and exchange industries with a minimum age requirement of 25. Group leaders are well trained and familiar with procedures to ensure a safe and productive experience for all participants. Students are chaperoned and supervised 24/7 during their stay. Workshop facilitators are teaching professionals fully versed in the coursework and workshop materials. Only licensed tour guides are used for sight-seeing excursions ensuring the integrity of the information and the quality of the experience.
